Our campus in Microkatu
Our Microkatu campus is known as a lively and international campus, which has constantly grown, developed and diversified with strong new construction activity. Today, the entirety comprises more than 100,000 gross square metres of business space. In Microkatu, you can rent office, laboratory, and special facilities.
The new CoWorking environment provides flexibility and enables modern hybrid work.
Microkatu provides a unique environment where education, research and business come together. The campus houses the University of Eastern Finland, Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Savo Vocational College, and over 150 different companies and communities.
Microkatu is served by three restaurants, a barber and hairdresser, two masseuses, two driving schools, and a car wash.
Microkatu facilities are located along good transport links and are easily accessible by car, bicycle, on foot, or using public transport. A large number of parking spaces for tenants and visitors are available in the parking hall and in the grounds.

Parking
Visitor parking is located in the campus grounds and visitor places are marked with traffic signs. After parking the car, please remember to pay at the ticket automat. The price for one hour of parking is €2 or €6 for a full day. Make sure you place the ticket in a visible place on the inside of the windscreen. The Easypark and ParkMan mobile applications also operate in the area, and a full-day parking ticket can also be purchased from the KPY Novapolis reception service.
For brief visits, we offer 15 minutes of free parking. In this case, the ticket should also be taken from the automat (no charge, press green button) and the ticket must be placed in a visible place on the inside of the windscreen.
